The aim of these Master studies is to train professionals and researchers for managing innovation and technological development in professional practice from leadership positions with a high capacity to work in industries: Textile, Paper and Graphic. It also enables the management role of multidisciplinary teams, especially in the field of industrial enterprises.
In the case of this master, no specific requirements for admission are set.

Merit assessment criteria and selection.
The assessment criteria of merit and selection of candidates, together with the weighting of each, and taking into account the Commission:
  • Qualification (degree of adequacy of the scope of the master source): 50%
  • Academic record obtained in earlier studies: 25%
  • Adequacy of professional experience possible to the objectives of the proposed master studies: 15%.
  • Personal motivation and commitment to education: 10%.
In the event that an access request was received from some degree that is not in the recommended profile, the number of credits to be taken as training supplements in such cases would be between a minimum of 15 ECTS and a maximum of 30 ECTS. These credits would be made parallel to the master during the first or second semester. The subjects to be taken would be the degree in Engineering Technology and Textile Design ESEIAAT of the UPC.
The training complements be defined after a detailed and individual applicant's academic record analysis and identify training deficiencies.
Students entitled acquire all the skills and abilities necessary for the proper development of professional activities, both in the field of textile engineering and in the field of graph-paper engineering.
This Master provides dual orientations: professional and research, and commitment to training in the technologies of R & D at the highest level and standards of excellence in the fields of textile engineering and paper and Graphic and covering training needs for research and innovation for the entire chain of production and design of textiles and paper.
  • Students with a degree in engineering in industry.
  • Students with a degree in Engineering: Forestry, Natural Environment, Food, Agricultural Science, Physics, Agricultural or equivalent.
  • Students with an Industrial Engineering.
  • Students with engineering Montes, agronomist or equivalent.
  • Students with a degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
  • Students with a degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
  • Students with a Technical Engineering industrial field.
  • Students with a Forest Engineering, Agricultural or equivalent.
All these qualifications provide direct access to the master, without take additional training.
Other options will be considered by the organ responsible for the master (CAM), which will analyze the files of the candidates in order to determine their access and, if necessary, to take the training complements the student and programming.

The engineer / textile and paper allow work in these industries and companies of any other nature; thanks to these studies have conferred a comprehensive and good preparation to solve organizational problems.

The engineer / textile and paper are based on science, knowledge of the most important sector technologies, a high-level training for organizing and directing textile companies and paper mills.

It provides a high-level training in new areas of technology sectors: textiles and paper-graphic. Graduates will be trained technology and excellent managers have a technical background that will allow them to exercise various functions within the industrial system (eg, production, quality, design, management, direction, etc ..) in various sectors (textiles, paper, graphic, handling, processing, chemical, biotechnology, equipment suppliers, engineering, technology consultants, etc ..). It will also focus their career into the world of doing doctoral research, thus joining the R & D departments and sectors listed above.
